CRC Girls Lacrosse Mission Statement
To provide a fun, safe, and positive learning experience for each athlete that promotes development of individual skills and tactics, teamwork, sportsmanship, and an understanding and appreciation of the game of women’s lacrosse.
The CRC Girls Lax Program caters to girls between the ages of five and fourteen. The program offers four age divisions: Clinic (5-6), Tyker (7-8), Lightning (9-10), Midget (11-12) and Junior (13-14).
For the spring season, the Tyker Clinic division participates in an in-house program that focuses on skill development and enjoyment of the game.
The Tyker (7-8) division will participate in an in-house program and a travel program dependent on level of interest.
The Lightning and Midget divisions participate in the travel league sponsored by the Maryland Youth Lacrosse Association (MYLA). For indoor lacrosse, the Tyker (7-8), Lightning, Midget, and Junior, age divisions participate in a program sponsored by Baltimore County Parks & Recreation at Reisterstown Regional Park.
It is the policy of CRC Girls Lacrosse that all players play in their age appropriate divisions. The age criterion is defined by the Maryland Youth Lacrosse Association (MYLA). Please refer to the following grid:

CRC Girls Lacrosse offers programs for the Indoor Season which runs from the middle of September through the end of December and the traditional Spring Season which runs from March through the first weekend in June.
Equipment: All players must provide their own equipment (with the exception of goalie equipment). Girls must have a mouth guard, approved eye protection and a girl’s stick.
In-House Program: The 5-6 & 7-8 age groups will be divided into equal teams and play in an “in-house” format playing other Cockeysville teams.
MYLA Travel Program: The 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 age groups will hold evaluations (scheduled to be determined) to divide the players into teams based on ability. These Cockeysville teams will then compete against surrounding programs in the MYLA. All players are guaranteed a spot on a team.
Girl's Coach's Clinic Registration: Anyone that plans to coach for CRC should take the US Lacrosse on line coach’s education program, it is free to members.
